Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will be held April 12th-14th at Cherokee Elementary School.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Cherokee Elementary School will not have after-school tutoring on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

The Highland School District will be closed tomorrow February 15th to on-site learning due to inclement weather. Tomorrow will be a virtual learning day.
CES had the "pickup parade" to let students collect any belongings left at school. We still have several items belonging to students. We need to clear the space for summer maintenance. If your student has items you want to collect, come by this week between 9 am and 2 pm to pick them up. Any items remaining at CES after this Friday, June 5, will be discarded.
Mrs. Shelly's first grade class is having a pajama drive to benefit Arkansas Children's Hospital. Donations can be dropped off at the CES lobby drop box until Friday at 10 am. All sizes are welcome, but pajamas must be new with tags.
Reminder: When sending bus notes, we need the student's first AND last name, the drop-off address, and (if known) the bus symbol.

Hate the wait? There is an alternative to the CES car rider line! You can pick up your student at AL Hutson Center. Just call the school office at 257-3118 prior to 2:15 to make the switch.
