The superintendent of the Highland School District is Jeremy D. Lewis. This is Mr. Lewis’ 25th year in education. Prior to joining the staff at Highland in 2012, he had been employed by Piggott, Thayer, and Viola schools. While here at Highland, Mr. Lewis has served as teacher/coach, athletic director, grounds supervisor, dean of students, assistant principal and principal. This is his first year as superintendent.

Mr. Lewis graduated from Highland in 1991 and has attended Williams Baptist College, Arkansas State University, and William Woods University. He earned a Specialist in Education degree from Arkansas State University. Mr. Lewis is a member of the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators.
